Job Description

A Field Sales Executive in the paint industry drives sales by visiting dealers, contractors, and clients in a specific territory, promoting paint products, taking orders, building relationships, providing technical guidance, and achieving targets. Key duties involve market analysis, product demos, negotiating deals, managing client accounts, and reporting sales activities to leadership, requiring strong communication, negotiation, and a results-driven approach for market penetration and growth. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation

: Identify new opportunities, visit prospective clients (dealers, retailers, contractors), and generate sales leads.

Client Relationship Management

: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.

Product Promotion & Technical Support

: Demonstrate paint products, explain features, provide application advice, and offer technical consultation.

Target Achievement

: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for your assigned territory.

Market Intelligence

: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies.

Reporting

: Maintain accurate sales records, track client interactions, and submit regular reports on performance and market conditions.

Negotiation

: Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience

: Previous sales experience, preferably in paints, coatings, or a related field.

Education

: A Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing) or a Diploma in Paint Technology/Chemistry is often preferred.

Skills

: Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and time management skills.

Attributes

: A results-driven mindset, ability to work independently in the field, and willingness to travel.
Typical Work Environment

On the front lines, working in the field (dealers, sites, customer locations). Regular travel within a specific geographical area. Reporting to a Regional Sales Manager or Sales Head.

Pay: ₹21,724.98 - ₹23,563.67 per month
