2. Position Overview
We are seeking a tenacious and self-motivated Field Sales Executive to join our team. This is a "hunter" role, 100% focused on new business acquisition.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying, prospecting, and closing new service contracts with manufacturing units. This role requires you to be on the ground daily, navigating industrial areas, initiating contact with new prospects through cold calling (both in-person and by phone), and building a robust sales pipeline from scratch.
3. Key Responsibilities
A. Prospecting & Lead Generation
? Territory Mapping: Systematically identify and map all target manufacturing units (e.g., automotive, pharma, chemical, textile) within the assigned industrial areas.? Aggressive Cold Calling: Execute a high volume of daily cold calls, both by phone to secure appointments and as "walk-ins" at factory gates to identify key contacts.? Gatekeeper Navigation: Skillfully navigate past security, reception, and administrative staff to reach the key decision-makers .
B. Sales Pitch & Solutioning
? Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough discovery meetings to understand the prospect's operational challenges, pain points, and business objectives.? Proposal & Quotation: Prepare and submit clear, accurate, and persuasive service proposals and quotations tailored to the client's needs.
C. Closing & Relationship Management
? Negotiation: Confidently handle objections, negotiate contract terms, and close sales to meet or exceed targets.? Initial Onboarding: Act as the primary point of contact during the initial client onboarding phase, ensuring a smooth transition to the service delivery team.?
4. Qualifications & Skills
Required (Must-Haves):
? "Hunter" Mentality: A natural go-getter attitude with a passion for new business acquisition and a relentless drive to win.? Cold Calling Expert: Must be fearless and highly proficient at initiating contact with new prospects via phone and in person visits.? Industry Exposure: Experience selling services (not just products) to the manufacturing, industrial, or engineering sectors is strongly preferred.? Communication: Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate complex ideas clearly.? Mobility: Must own a reliable two-wheeler or car and possess a valid driver's license. This is a 100% field-based role requiring daily travel within industrial areas.
