POSITION FIELD EXECUTIVE - SALES REPORTS TO GENERAL MANAGER REPORTEES -- Position summary: As a Sales field executive you are responsible to develop and foster business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of the retreat. Also develops strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue. This position will be based in Mumbai and would need to travel to Nashik as and when required. Identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to optimize performance of sales and reservation team. Additionally, work with individual retreat teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To oversee activities that attracts client patronage and maximum profit for hotels. To make lists of potential clients or groups and conduct survey to discover customers actively seeking hotel services. To place calls or arrange meetings with potential clients to identify their requirements and needs. To prepare and present sales proposals to prospective clients, highlighting retreat service features and qualities. To assist clients in selecting the most appropriate service that meets their specification. To monitor the customer service quality of retreat to ensure clients are tended appropriately. To conduct price negotiations with customers on behalf of the management to strike a favourable bargain. To maintain contact with clients in order to obtain feedback, and discuss opportunities for future business deal. To set annual budgets and implement strategies effective for achieving set targets. Responsible for Corporate and other tie ups for the retreat. Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales. Represent Hotels in various events and exhibition. Implements all sales action plans related to my market areas as outlined in the marketing plan. Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients. Able to provide Quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, develop professional long-term business relationships Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response time line to clients Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Attending all department and hotel meetings as necessary To do sales call and report the progress on a daily basis to the General Manager. PREREQUISITES: Proven success in a similar role and environment. Empathy towards your customers and colleagues. Pride and attention to detail. Polished personal presentation with Warm, confident and hospitable personality EDUCATION: 3-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major. EXPERIENCE: 3 to 4 years' experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area. SALARY: Best in the industry and as per experience
