Job Description

A Field Sales Executive in the paint industry drives revenue by acquiring new dealers/contractors and managing existing relationships within a assigned territory. Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, managing orders, and providing technical product expertise to clients.

Key Responsibilities



Territory Management:

Identify new business opportunities (dealers, retailers, builders, contractors) and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

Sales & Targets:

Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets, focusing on volume and revenue growth.

Product Expertise:

Conduct on-site product demonstrations, explain product features (e.g., durability, finish, coverage), and provide technical support.

Order Management:

Process orders, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of products.

Market Intelligence:

Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market trends to adjust strategies.

Administrative Reporting:

Maintain accurate records in CRM, prepare daily/weekly sales reports, and manage logistics.

Required Skills and Qualifications



Experience:

Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the paint, construction, or building materials industry.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication for negotiating with dealers and architects.

Mobility:

Ability to travel frequently within the designated territory (valid driver's license required).

Target-Driven:

Highly motivated to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Number of new dealer/client acquisitions. Sales volume and revenue targets. Dealer satisfaction and retention rates. Market share growth within the assigned territory.
