The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales and business growth within the assigned region. The role involves implementing sales strategies, ensuring achievement of revenue and profitability targets, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
Achieve sales volume, revenue growth, margins, market share, and monthly collection targets as per the approved business plan.
Ensure strict compliance with budgetary and regulatory requirements.
Marketing & Strategy Execution
Develop and implement marketing strategies, plans, and budgets for the assigned region.
Execute promotional activities and business development initiatives to expand market presence.
Business Development & Customer Engagement
Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the region.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase business share and customer loyalty.
Gather key customer insights and translate them into actionable business strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to ensure On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) deliveries and enhanced customer satisfaction.
Competitive Edge & Value Creation
Develop strong value chain connections with critical customers to strengthen business partnerships and create competitive barriers.
Promote innovation in products and practices to retain market leadership.
Market Intelligence
Collect, analyse, and maintain up-to-date market intelligence to stay ahead of competition and market trends.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure 100% adherence to statutory, regulatory, and governance norms applicable in the region.
8. Debtors Collection & Credit Control
Ensure timely collection of outstanding dues from customers to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize overdue receivables.
Monitor customer credit limits, coordinate with finance teams, and take proactive steps to reduce debtor days.
9. Other Responsibilities
Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
