2. Site Visits & Workforce Management
Visit residential construction sites regularly to assess labor requirements.
Maintain attendance and headcount records of site workers.
Ensure newly hired workers report to the correct site and role.
Coordinate onboarding, ID issuance, and site inductions.
3. Coordination with HR and Project Teams
Report hiring status and labor availability to HR and project managers.
Liaise between site engineers and labor suppliers.
Escalate issues like absenteeism, labor shortages, or skill mismatches.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Collect and verify documents (ID proofs, experience certificates, etc.).
Ensure compliance with labor laws and safety norms.
Maintain updated labor records (digital or physical).
5. Retention & Engagement
Address worker grievances at the site level.
Help manage worker accommodation and basic welfare needs.
Support retention of skilled labor through regular feedback.
6. Other Support Activities
Assist with emergency labor needs (e.g., sudden shortage).
Coordinate for skill training or upskilling if required.
