The Field Officer - Sales is responsible for achieving sales targets, developing strong customer relationships, expanding market presence, and ensuring timely collection of payments. The role requires regular field visits, customer follow-ups, and market intelligence reporting.
2. Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Growth
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Identify new customers and generate leads in the assigned territory.
Promote company products and explain features, benefits, and pricing.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relations with existing customers.
Provide excellent service and address customer queries or complaints.
Visit customers regularly for follow-up and order generation.
Market Development
Expand market reach by identifying potential retailers, dealers, and distributors.
Conduct competitor analysis and report market trends to management.
Suggest new strategies to improve sales.
Collection & Accounts Follow-up
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Follow up with customers for overdue amounts and maintain clean accounts.
Coordinate with accounts team regarding payment issues.
Reporting & Documentation
Submit daily/weekly tour reports and sales performance updates.
Maintain customer data, sales records, and market feedback.
Update management on challenges, opportunities, and field activities.
3. Skills & Qualifications
Minimum qualification: Graduation (preferable in Business/Commerce/Marketing).
1-3 years of experience in field sales (steel, cement and paint experience preferred).
