Build rapport with prospective customers to increase engagement and trust.
3. Relationship Building with Market Stakeholders
Establish and maintain strong relationships with builders, architects, real estate agents, carpenters, and local vendors.
Maintain a list of reliable industry contacts for ongoing lead flow.
Conduct regular visits to these partners to keep them updated about company services.
4. On-Ground Marketing Activities
Execute local marketing campaigns such as distributing brochures, placing standees, and conducting door-to-door awareness where permitted.
Coordinate and participate in promotional events, exhibitions, and marketing activations relevant to the interiors industry.
Represent the company professionally at all field events.
5. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Stay updated with new residential projects, interior design trends, and competitor offerings in the region.
Gather information about pricing, quality, and service standards of competitors to support strategic decision-making.
Provide insights on customer preferences and market demand.
6. Lead Management & Coordination
Accurately record all leads gathered during field visits with relevant details.
Categorize leads based on interest level and follow-up needs.
Coordinate closely with sales and design teams to ensure timely follow-up on leads and appointment scheduling.
Track each lead until it is handed over to the sales team and ensure proper documentation.
7. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily and weekly reports with details of field visits, leads generated, interactions, challenges, and observations.
Update CRM systems or lead-monitoring sheets regularly.
Share feedback from the market to help improve marketing strategies.
8. Brand Representation & Conduct
Represent the company in a positive manner during all field interactions.
Maintain neat grooming, professional communication, and polite behaviour at all times.
Ensure all marketing materials are used appropriately and responsibly.
9. Travel & Territory Management
Plan travel routes efficiently to cover assigned areas and maximise productivity.
Manage time effectively to meet daily/weekly target numbers of visits and leads.
Ensure timely communication with managers regarding travel schedules and field activities.
