Job Purpose
To support its growth, John Cockerill Energy Solutions, headquartered in Belgium, has project execution center in Mumbai, India. To reinforce its India Execution Center, John Cockerill Energy Solutions is hiring a Field Inspection Engineer (M/F/X).
The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct comprehensive inspections and engineering assessments of Boilers to determine their current condition, identify degradation mechanisms, and provide support to accurately estimate their remaining useful life. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in boilers / HRSG operation, thermodynamics, process, materials, failure mechanisms. Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques will be preferred. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide actionable recommendations to optimize HRSG performance, reliability, and extend asset life. He / She is responsible to assure the technical and administrative conformity of the tasks to the contracts and to internal quality and safety standards as defined in the QMS (quality management system) of the Energy Sector of John Cockerill.
The Field Inspection Engineer will be part of the After-Sales team, primarily based in Belgium, and will work in close collaboration with experts, senior inspectors, and the operations department. Depending on workload and availability, the engineer may also contribute to other technical activities supporting the After-Sales business.
