Field HR Executive - Operations & Workforce Discipline

(Preference: Ex-Army / Defence / Paramilitary Background)

Gurugram (with regular travel to project & service sites)



Compensation



?25,000 - ?30,000 per month

(Based on experience, field exposure, and role fit)

Role Overview



The Field HR Executive will act as the

on-ground HR and workforce discipline anchor

for Gilco Global's field teams, including technicians, installers, and service personnel.

This role is particularly suited to

Ex-Army / Defence background professionals

who bring discipline, leadership, operational clarity, and calm authority to managing large field-based teams.

The focus of the role is

attendance control, workforce stability, compliance coordination, and daily issue resolution

, ensuring uninterrupted site operations and reduced attrition.

Key Responsibilities1. Field Presence & Workforce Discipline



Maintain regular on-ground presence at installation, commissioning, and service sites Act as the primary HR point of contact for field technicians and service staff Ensure punctuality, discipline, and adherence to site protocols Build trust with field teams through fairness, consistency, and clear communication

2. Attendance, Deployment & Control



Monitor and validate attendance using geo-tagged systems (FieldCircle / HRMS) Track late logins, absences, half-days, and site-wise deployment Coordinate daily manpower availability with Service and Installation Managers Ensure workforce alignment with site schedules

3. Payroll & Statutory Coordination



Coordinate attendance inputs with payroll and accounts teams Support resolution of PF, ESIC, insurance, and wage-related queries Ensure compliance accuracy without creating confusion or fear among field staff

4. Hiring, Onboarding & Field Induction



Support sourcing and onboarding of Field Technicians and Service Personnel Conduct on-ground inductions covering: Attendance and reporting norms Site discipline and conduct Safety awareness Escalation hierarchy Ensure joining documentation, ID issuance, and asset handover are completed

5. Grievance Handling & Retention



Handle field-level grievances related to: Site conditions Supervisor coordination Travel or reimbursement issues Identify early attrition risks and intervene proactively Escalate matters only when required, with proper documentation

6. Coordination with Operations & Admin



Work closely with: Service Managers Installation Managers Admin & Finance teams Ensure HR processes support site execution and do not delay operations

Preferred Candidate Profile



Ex-Army / Ex-Defence / Paramilitary personnel preferred

Strong experience in team management, discipline, and ground operations Calm authority, integrity, and people-handling skills Comfortable engaging with blue-collar workforce Willingness to travel across sites as required

Skills & Attributes



Strong sense of discipline, fairness, and accountability Ability to enforce rules with empathy Clear verbal communication (Hindi mandatory; working English preferred) Comfortable using mobile apps, WhatsApp, and basic HR systems

Experience & Education



Defence or field operations experience preferred Graduation desirable but not mandatory for strong operational profiles Prior exposure to infrastructure, services, or industrial environments is an advantage
