The Junior F&B Controller is responsible for assisting in the management and monitoring of food and beverage costs, controlling wastage, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking and reporting. This role plays a crucial part in supporting cost-efficiency, accuracy in reporting, and operational accountability across F&B operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring daily F&B cost control activities.
Support in preparation and reconciliation of daily stock reports.
Track and record raw material consumption and yield analysis.
Conduct spot checks on inventory levels at stores and kitchens.
Assist with month-end inventory counts and variance analysis.
Cross-verify purchase entries, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and vendor bills.
Identify and report variances between standard and actual costs.
Monitor recipe adherence and flag anomalies in consumption or usage.
Support senior F&B controller in audits and documentation processes.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in inventory and costing systems.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Basic understanding of F&B inventory and cost management.
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
Familiarity with POS and inventory management software (e.g., Petpooja, POSist, ShawMan, etc.).
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in F&B control, accounts, or inventory roles.
Experience in cloud kitchen, restaurant, or hospitality sector preferred.
