To represent the company in the field, engage with potential and existing clients, understand their requirements, present solutions, and ensure successful closure of sales deals. The role requires strong client interaction skills, market understanding, and the ability to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction & Relationship Building
Conduct regular client visits to understand requirements and gather feedback.
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
Address client queries and provide timely solutions.
Sales & Deal Closure
Present company products/services to potential clients effectively.
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts within company guidelines.
Close sales deals and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Market & Lead Generation
Identify new business opportunities in assigned territory.
Generate leads through client meetings, referrals, networking, and events.
Maintain a database of clients and potential leads in CRM systems (e.g., Zoho CRM).
Reporting & Coordination
Report daily/weekly client visit and sales activity to the Sales Manager.
Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Finance) to ensure smooth order execution.
Provide market feedback for product improvement and marketing strategy.
Targets & Performance Monitoring
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to the management.
Continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Result-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Good understanding of market dynamics and client requirements.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in the field.
Basic knowledge of CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.) is preferred.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline.
Sales/Marketing certifications are an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in field sales, client management, or business development.
Experience in [Industry - e.g., IT Products, FMCG, Services] is preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of client visits conducted per month.
Leads generated and converted into successful deals.
Achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
Client satisfaction and retention metrics.
Timely submission of reports and documentation.
