You will manage on-ground driver onboarding and ensure smooth execution of our data collection activities. You will work directly with delivery drivers, install and configure our Android app on their phones, train them on correct usage, and monitor data quality. Your job
is to keep drivers active, motivated, and compliant with the collection protocol.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Training
Identify and approach drivers (delivery riders, cab drivers, logistics drivers).
Explain the purpose of the app and data collection process clearly.
Assist drivers with app installation, login, and initial setup.
Provide hands-on training on how to use the app while doing deliveries/trips.
Resolve basic issues related to device, app, and connectivity.
Execution & Monitoring
Track driver tasks and progress daily.
Check whether drivers follow data collection rules (routes, timing, steps).
Monitor consistency and performance of active drivers.
Conduct periodic refresher training when gaps are detected.
Issue Resolution
Handle escalations (device not supported, app not recording).
Collect common field problems and share with the backend/tech team.
Replace low-performing drivers and re-onboard new ones quickly.
Reporting
Maintain a simple daily tracker of:
Drivers onboarded
Drivers active
Hours/Trips collected
Issues logged and resolved
Provide regular updates to leadership.
Skills & Requirements
1-3 years work experience in field operations, delivery/logistics onboarding,
insurance, or sales.
Strong communication skills in Hindi + local language.
Basic technical comfort with Android apps.
Patience to train non-technical drivers.
Ability to travel 60-80% of the time.
Organized and disciplined with follow-ups.
* Own two-wheeler is a plus.
