Role Overview

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of EV labs, equipment, training setups, and project-related infrastructure. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on skills, client handling capability, and extensive field travel.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Commissioning

Install and commission EV labs, training equipment at client locations.
Ensure all components are configured and tested as per company guidelines.
Conduct quality checks and maintain installation standards.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for EV equipment and training infrastructure.
Diagnose technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
Maintain logs of repair work, service reports, and spare usage.

3. Client Coordination & Support

Interact with institutional clients to understand requirements and provide on-site support.
Provide demonstrations, basic training, and technical guidance to faculty/students.
Ensure proper closure of service requests and maintain excellent client satisfaction.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare service reports, installation checklists, visit logs, and feedback forms.
Report field observations to the technical team for continuous improvement.

5. Inventory & Material Handling

Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts issued for field visits.
Ensure proper handling and safety of devices during transit and installation.

6. Compliance & Safety

Follow safety protocols and ensure adherence to ISIEINDIA's technical standards.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong technical understanding of EV systems, electrical engineering fundamentals, and mechatronics.

Ability to read wiring diagrams, circuit drawings, and installation manuals.

Hands-on experience with tools, testing instruments, and lab equipment.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and client-handling abilities.

Ability to travel extensively for field assignments.

Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently.

Education & Experience

Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, or related fields.

1-2 years of experience

Experience with EV labs, industrial installations, or service engineering is an added advantage.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
