About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Field Engineer

to join our Network Operations team. This is critical for maintaining high-quality network service for our

B2B (Business-to-Business) customers

. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, technically inclined, and possesses strong problem-solving and communication skills to serve our corporate clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The Field Engineer will be responsible for the execution and timely resolution of field service tasks, focusing on customer satisfaction and network reliability.

Field Task Execution:

Fulfill and complete tasks

assigned by the Network Coordinators, including installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication equipment at customer premises.

Customer Communication (B2B):

Serve as the direct, professional contact for our

business customers

, clearly communicating technical issues, progress updates, and resolution steps.

Service Restoration:

Rapidly resolve customer internet and network problems

within the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or defined timelines.

Troubleshooting:

Perform effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of network issues (e.g., fiber, copper, Wi-Fi, routing) using standard diagnostic tools and procedures.

Documentation:

Accurately document all service activities, issue resolutions, and equipment changes in the designated ticketing and inventory systems.
Qualifications and Requirements

Must-Haves:

Education:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related technical field,

OR

equivalent relevant professional experience.

Technical Acumen:

Basic understanding of

IP networking concepts

(TCP/IP, LAN/WAN) and familiarity with common telecommunication technologies (e.g., fiber optics, Ethernet).

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

for direct B2B customer interaction.

Work Style:

Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and prioritize assigned tasks.

Mobility:

Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel extensively within the service region.
Nice-to-Haves:

Prior hands-on experience or internship in a field service or telecommunications environment. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA entry-level).
