Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Field Support Engineer with foundational knowledge in electronics, networking, and Linux systems. The ideal candidate will support installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of traffic-related hardware and systems such as IP cameras and traffic light controllers.

Key Responsibilities:

? Perform field-level diagnosis and support for electronic systems and traffic infrastructure.

? Use a multi-meter to measure voltage, current, resistance, and continuity in various field devices.

? Assist with configuration and deployment of IP-based surveillance systems (e.g., IP cameras).

? Work with networking concepts including private/public networks, subnets, NAT, and port forwarding.

? Use Linux systems for remote access (via SSH), executing basic commands, and log retrieval.

? Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth integration of hardware with networking components.

? Maintain documentation of installation and maintenance activities.

? Coordinate with vendors, clients, or traffic control agencies during setup or issue resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

? Experience with configuring and maintaining IP cameras.

? Prior experience working with traffic light systems or government traffic control agencies.

? Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

? Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field work.

Soft Skills:

? Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

? Good communication and documentation skills.

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

? Comfortable working in outdoor/field environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
