The Field Coordinator - NGO Events will be responsible for coordinating, executing, and monitoring on-ground activities for various events, programs, and community initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to manage field-level operations efficiently. The candidate will ensure smooth event execution, mobilize participants, coordinate with vendors, and support the project team to achieve event objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Coordination & Execution
Assist in planning and organizing NGO events, workshops, campaigns, and community outreach activities.
Oversee on-ground event setup, logistics, and coordination.
Ensure timely execution of all field-related event tasks.
Coordinate with venue partners, vendors, volunteers, and internal teams.
2. Community Outreach & Mobilization
Conduct field visits to communities, schools, institutions, and partner locations.
Mobilize beneficiaries, volunteers, and local stakeholders for events and initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and local authorities.
3. Stakeholder Management
Liaise with vendors for event materials, equipment, and logistics.
Coordinate with government bodies, local organizations, and partners for permissions and support.
Assist in managing volunteer teams during events.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily field activity reports and event documentation.
Capture attendance, feedback, photos, and relevant event data.
Submit post-event reports and assist in impact assessment.
5. Operational Support
Ensure all event-related materials, kits, and resources are available on time.
Manage on-ground challenges and provide quick solutions.
Support the program team in monitoring field implementation.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in Social Work, Event Management, Arts, or related field.
Prior experience in field coordination, event management, or NGO activities preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork and events.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.)
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends during events.
