The new recruit will be part of the Field Application Engineering Sales team for EMEAI and based in Bangalore.
Responsabilities:
1) Interface with customers and help sales rep during technical discussions
2) Be the connection between Engineering and the customer
3) Understand customer requirements and advise which Sandisk product to use
4) Perform Level 1 failure analysis on Field returns
5) on site support for OEM customers
Requirements:
1) Knowledge of eMMC, UFS, SD Card, NVMe interfaces
2) knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu), Windows. Other OSes a plus (Yocto Linux, Android, QNX)
3) Basic programming/shell language knowledge (Python, Ruby, bash) is a plus.
4) Experience in HW debugging
5) Strong autonomous problem-solving capabilities
6) Customer oriented communication skills
7) Availability to travel for up to 30% of the time.
As a Field Application Engineer, you'll be the bridge between technical expertise and customer satisfaction. Your role involves collaborating with engineering, sales, and customer service departments to address technical issues related to our products and services. You'll liaise with clients, incorporate user-defined needs and feedback into application designs, and provide essential technical support.
