About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

Fiber Splicer

to join our ISP telecom team. The role involves splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables to ensure high-quality network performance for broadband and enterprise customers. The candidate will work on installation, maintenance, and repair of optical fiber networks in both underground and overhead environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

fiber splicing, termination, and OTDR testing

for backbone and access networks. Install and maintain

fiber optic cables (underground, aerial, FTTx, FTTH, FTTP)

. Conduct

fusion splicing

and mechanical splicing for new and existing networks. Identify, troubleshoot, and repair fiber faults, damages, and connectivity issues. Maintain accurate

splicing records, test results, and as-built documentation

. Ensure compliance with

safety standards and industry best practices

during field work. Coordinate with NOC and field engineers for network activation and fault resolution. Support

ISP projects, network upgrades, and customer connectivity rollouts

Requirements

Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field. Minimum 1

-4 years' experience in fiber splicing / ISP / telecom industry

. Hands-on experience with

OTDR, power meter, splicing machines, and fiber tools

. Strong knowledge of

fiber optic network architecture (FTTH, GPON, DWDM, Metro Ethernet, etc.)

. Ability to work in

field conditions (aerial/underground splicing)

. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Skills

Certification in

Fiber Optic Splicing & Testing

. Experience with major ISP or telecom operators. Familiarity with

safety protocols and OHS standards

Compensation

Competitive salary package based on experience, plus travel and field allowances.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
