Designing and developing fiber optic systems and networks.
Conducting site surveys to determine the best installation paths and techniques.
Creating detailed schematics for fiber optic systems, ensuring compliance with standards and customer specifications.
Supervising the installation of fiber systems and ensuring proper alignment, signal strength, and data transfer rates.
Performing regular tests and maintenance on fibers, systems, and associated equipment to minimize downtime and loss of data.
Updating and maintaining project documentation and system records.
Training technical staff and users when necessary.
Troubleshooting and rectifying field problems, and responding to network outages quickly.
