FG Store & Logistics Coordinator
to oversee our finished goods warehouse and dispatch operations.
Job Summary
The FG Store & Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing finished goods inventory, coordinating dispatches, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining smooth logistics operations. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with production, quality, and customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinished Goods Store Management
Manage daily operations of the FG store, including receiving, storing, and issuing finished products.
Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/Inventory software.
Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper labeling, binning, and FIFO practices for all finished goods.
Logistics & Dispatch Coordination
Plan and coordinate daily dispatch activities as per customer schedules.
Prepare dispatch documents: invoices, packing lists, e-way bills, delivery challans, etc.
Coordinate with transporters, logistics partners, and customers for timely deliveries.
Track shipments and provide delivery updates to internal teams and customers.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure all dispatches follow company and regulatory compliance guidelines.
Maintain records of dispatches, stock levels, and transportation documentation.
Support internal and external audits related to FG store and logistics.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Sales teams to align dispatch priorities.
Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and special requirements.
Process Improvement
Optimize warehouse space and workflow for efficient operations.
Implement continuous improvement practices in inventory control and dispatch processes.
Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics and transportation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in FG store, warehouse, or logistics coordination (manufacturing preferred).
Knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar).
Experience with transport coordination and e-way bill generation.
Strong understanding of inventory management and dispatch procedures.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel & documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in wiring harness, electronics, or automotive manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of ISO standards and audit requirements.
Ability to handle high-volume shipments and customer schedules.
