Fettling Duties

:

Perform grinding, chipping, cutting, and cleaning of castings to remove gates, risers, and unwanted materials. Operate hand tools and machines (e.g., angle grinders, pneumatic chisels, cutting tools). Ensure proper surface finish as per the drawing or customer requirement. Segregate and report defective castings for rework or rejection. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the fettling area.

Quality Control Duties

:

Inspect castings visually for surface defects like blowholes, cracks, misruns, etc. Check dimensions using gauges, vernier calipers, micrometers, etc. Document inspection reports and mark accepted/rejected parts. Follow standard inspection procedures and quality checklists. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects. Ensure traceability of inspected parts through marking and documentation.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
