Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Ferrao Portable CMM Operator

to join our quality assurance team in

Maraimalai Nagar

. Candidates will be responsible for performing accurate dimensional inspections using the

Ferrao Portable Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

.

Training will be provided by experts from Ferrao

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and manage Ferrao Portable CMM for dimensional inspections of components and assemblies. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and CAD models for inspection. Perform in-process, final, and first article inspections. Document inspection results and maintain inspection records. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure part conformity. Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment as per company standards. Adhere to safety and quality procedures at all times.

Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Tool Engineering. 1-5 years of experience in inspection/metrology (CMM experience is preferred but not mandatory). Understanding of GD&T, measurement tools, and basic quality concepts. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with measurement software is a plus. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Training Provided:

On-the-job training by Ferrao company professionals.

Certification/competency building in operating Ferrao Portable CMM.
