The Female Warden will be responsible for the overall administration, discipline, safety, and welfare of BDS girl students residing in the hostel. The role requires on-campus residence and round-the-clock supervision to ensure a secure, disciplined, and supportive living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Hostel Administration & Student Management:
Maintain daily attendance of all hostel residents.
Monitor student movement and manage out-pass and leave approvals.
Ensure adherence to hostel rules, timings, and code of conduct.
Address student grievances and provide pastoral care and guidance.
Act as the first point of contact for students' personal, academic, or health-related concerns.
Safety, Security & Discipline:
Ensure safety and security of all residents at all times.
Enforce discipline and take corrective action for rule violations.
Coordinate with security staff and campus administration during emergencies.
Maintain visitor records and regulate entry/exit.
Housekeeping & Maintenance:
Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness of rooms, washrooms, and common areas.
Monitor hostel infrastructure and report maintenance issues.
Coordinate with maintenance and administration teams for timely repairs.
Coordination & Reporting:
Liaise with academic authorities, hostel committee, and administration.
Maintain hostel registers, records, and reports.
Submit regular reports on attendance, discipline, and hostel operations.
Eligibility & Requirements:
Female candidate only.
Graduate preferred.
Experience as a hostel warden or similar role preferred.
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
Willingness to reside on campus.
