to support our pharmacy operations by handling prescription-related calls, assisting patients/customers with their medication queries, and coordinating with the backend pharmacy team. This is a desk-based role requiring excellent communication and basic pharmaceutical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls from patients/customers regarding prescriptions, medicines, and availability.
Assist in verifying prescriptions over the phone and ensuring accuracy of medicine details.
Explain dosage instructions and basic medicine information as per pharmacist guidance.
Coordinate with the backend pharmacy team for dispatch, follow-ups, and inventory-related queries.
Maintain proper call logs and patient interaction records in the system.
Follow-up with customers for repeat orders or clarification.
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
Key Skills Required:
Strong verbal communication in Hindi, English, and preferably regional languages (e.g., Bengali).
Basic knowledge of pharmacy/medicine (training can be provided).
Good listening and problem-solving skills.
Comfort with computer systems and CRM tools.
Patience and empathy to deal with elderly or sick customers.
Qualifications:
Minimum: 12th pass with science or any graduate (preferably B.Pharm, D.Pharm, or relevant medical background).
Prior experience in tele-calling or pharmacy support is a plus.
