Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our innovative lighting products and solutions to a diverse client base, including architects, interior designers, electrical consultants, contractors, and end-users. This role requires a blend of strong sales acumen, technical knowledge of lighting, and excellent relationship-building skills to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients and key accounts to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Product Consultation & Presentation:

Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate lighting solutions (e.g., LED, commercial, industrial, residential). Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs.

Sales Cycle Management:

Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiating contracts and closing deals.

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, including lighting designers, technical support, and logistics, to ensure seamless project delivery and post-sales support.

Market Intelligence:

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.

Target Achievement:

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

Minimum of 1 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the lighting, electrical, or a related building products industry.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex product benefits clearly.

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and manage client expectations.

Technical Proficiency:

Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)

Attributes:

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, resilient, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Travel:

Ability to travel to client sites, industry events, and trade shows as needed.
