Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify prescriptions received digitally or via phone.
Provide telephonic consultations regarding drug dosage, interactions, side effects, and storage.
Respond to queries from patients and caregivers in a clear, professional manner.
Coordinate with doctors, healthcare providers, and pharmacy dispatch teams.
Ensure all information complies with drug safety guidelines and HIPAA standards.
Record and maintain accurate data for each consultation or prescription.
Educate patients on chronic disease medication adherence and follow-ups.
Provide support in resolving prescription errors, if any.
Required Skills:
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug regulations, and patient care.
Comfort with using telecommunication and pharmacy management systems.
Attention to detail and ethical integrity in handling patient data.
Languages: Fluency in English, Hindi, and preferably local language(s).
Qualifications:
B.Pharm / M.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institute.
Registered with the State Pharmacy Council (valid license is mandatory).
Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy (telephonic role is a plus).
