The Internal Pharmacist will oversee all pharmacy-related operations within the facility and home healthcare services. This includes prescription management, medication review, patient safety, stock control, and regulatory compliance. The pharmacist will work closely with doctors, nurses, and caregivers to ensure accurate and safe medication use for all in-house and home care patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense, verify, and monitor all prescribed medications for inpatients and home healthcare clients.
Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
Maintain and manage medication inventory, including procurement, storage, and expiry checks.
Maintain documentation of drug usage, controlled substances, and patient medication records.
Assist in developing and implementing policies for safe medication handling.
Participate in case discussions and care planning with clinical teams.
Conduct internal audits and training sessions related to medication management and safety.
