Job Summary

The Female Staff Nurse in an IVF hospital provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments. She supports IVF procedures, assists doctors during clinical and surgical procedures, ensures patient comfort, and maintains high standards of clinical care, confidentiality, and emotional support.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Support

Provide compassionate nursing care to female patients undergoing fertility treatments Educate patients and couples about IVF procedures, medications, and post-treatment care Offer emotional support and counseling assistance during sensitive fertility treatments Monitor vital signs and patient condition before and after procedures
Clinical & Procedural Assistance

Assist doctors during IVF procedures such as OPU (Ovum Pick-Up), embryo transfer, IUI, and minor gynecological procedures Prepare patients for procedures and ensure informed consent is obtained Administer prescribed medications, injections, and IV fluids as per protocol Maintain accurate patient records and treatment charts
Medication & Equipment Management

Handle fertility drugs, injections, and hormonal medications safely Ensure proper storage and handling of medications, including cold-chain maintenance Prepare and maintain IVF equipment, instruments, and procedure rooms Ensure infection control and sterilization standards are followed
Laboratory & OT Coordination

Coordinate with embryology lab staff and OT personnel during procedures Assist in maintaining sterile conditions in OT and procedure areas Follow SOPs for handling biological samples
Documentation & Compliance

Maintain confidentiality of patient information Document nursing care, procedures, and medication administration accurately Follow hospital policies, ethical guidelines, and legal standards
Housekeeping & Safety

Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in patient care areas Follow biomedical waste management protocols Adhere to safety and emergency procedures
Qualifications & Requirements

GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification Valid nursing registration with State Nursing Council Experience in IVF / OB-GYN / Fertility clinic preferred Knowledge of fertility treatments and reproductive health Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
Working Conditions

Shift-based duty (including weekends and emergencies) OT and clinical environment High level of confidentiality and emotional sensitivity required

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
