The Digital Marketing Head is responsible for developing and executing end-to-end digital marketing strategies to strengthen the hotel/hospitality brand, drive online visibility, increase direct bookings, and enhance customer engagement. This role leads all digital channels, performance marketing, content strategy, and brand communication to achieve revenue and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Strategy & Brand Management
Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with hotel business goals.
Strengthen brand identity across all digital platforms (website, social media, ads, email).
Maintain brand consistency across all content, visuals, and communication.
2. Performance Marketing & Revenue Growth
Manage paid campaigns: Google Ads, Meta Ads, OTA promotions, retargeting campaigns.
Optimize digital campaigns for ROI, cost-per-acquisition (CPA), and direct booking growth.
Work closely with revenue management to plan pricing-based digital promotions.
3. Website & SEO Management
Oversee website UX, content updates, hotel images, and landing pages.
Ensure SEO optimization to improve SERP rankings and organic traffic.
Coordinate with developers for site functionality, tracking, and conversion optimization.
4. Social Media Management
Plan and execute content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
Oversee creative direction, storytelling, hospitality-focused visuals, and reels.
Monitor engagement and grow the brand's social presence organically.
5. Content Creation & Creative Oversight
Lead content development: blogs, social media posts, videos, hotel highlights, property tours.
Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and agencies for high-quality creatives.
Ensure compelling content that resonates with hospitality audiences.
6. Online Reputation Management
Monitor and respond to reviews on TripAdvisor, Google, OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, Makemytrip).
Improve guest ratings and ensure timely escalation of negative feedback.
Develop guest engagement campaigns to boost reviews and loyalty.
7. Data Analytics & Reporting
Track KPIs such as CTR, CPC, ROAS, engagement rates, and booking conversions.
Create monthly reports highlighting campaign performance, ROI, and strategic insights.
Use data to refine ongoing and future digital strategies.
8. Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead a team of digital marketers, designers, and content creators.
Coordinate with sales, revenue, F&B, and operations teams for integrated campaigns.
Train staff on digital best practices and brand communication.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or related field; MBA preferred.
6-12 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in hospitality/hotel/resorts.
Strong understanding of hotel marketing funnels, OTA ecosystem, SEO/SEM, social media, and analytics.
Proficiency with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, CRM tools, and email marketing platforms.
Excellent communication, leadership, and creative skills.
