Job Description

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

. 2 years of experience Some Knowledge of ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards, NBC codes, and energy-efficient practices. Knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), HAP/TRACE, or similar design software.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment capacity selection. Prepare HVAC system layouts, BOQs, and technical specifications. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and internal teams for design approvals. Support estimation and tendering teams with design inputs. Review and validate shop drawings, equipment submittals, and site conditions. Ensure compliance with safety, energy efficiency, and sustainability requirements. Assist in value engineering to provide cost-effective solutions without compromising performance.

Skills & Competencies:

knowledge of HVAC principles and system design. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Team-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines.
