Profile - Anchor

Key Responsibilities

Host live events such as seminars, conferences, cultural functions, and academic ceremonies. Introduce event segments, speakers, guests, and activities with clarity and enthusiasm. Collaborate with event coordinators to maintain programme schedule and timing. Engage the audience through interactive activities, humor, and dynamic commentary. Adapt content delivery and tone as per the nature of the event. Manage transitions between acts and address unforeseen live event challenges with composure. Prepare and revise anchoring scripts in advance. Conduct interviews or conversations with special guests, dignitaries, or faculty. Ensure a vibrant on-stage personality aligned with the institution's values and event objectives.
Skills and Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and comfort engaging with large groups. Ability to think quickly and respond gracefully during live events. Professional attitude and presence, including voice modulation and articulation. Prior experience in event hosting, anchoring, public speaking, or drama preferred. Proficiency in English and/or relevant local languages. Familiarity with digital event platforms is an advantage.
Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in any discipline; coursework or certifications in communication, media, or event management is preferred. Demonstrated experience in anchoring educational programs, public events, or comparable activities.
