Key Responsibilities

News Presentation:

Deliver news stories clearly, concisely, and accurately to an audience on air.

Research & Scripting:

Research news topics, fact-check information, and write or edit scripts for on-air delivery.

Story Selection & Organization:

Work with news directors to choose stories, organize content logically, and determine the show's rundown.

Interviews:

Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and reporters to gather insights and information.

Collaboration:

Work closely with news directors, producers, reporters, photographers, and editors to produce compelling news segments.

Audience Engagement:

Use social media to engage with the audience, respond to comments, and build a connection.

Improvisation:

Remain calm and adapt to unexpected events during live broadcasts.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Excellent Communication:

Strong verbal communication and active listening skills are crucial.

Writing & Editing:

Proficient in writing, editing, and understanding journalistic style.

Research Skills:

Ability to research and fact-check stories from various sources.

Public Speaking:

Ability to present information in a clear, engaging, and unbiased manner.

Adaptability:

Must be able to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.

Journalistic Ethics:
