The Role
We are seeking an articulate and results-driven
Admission Counsellor (Enrollment Specialist)
to manage the entire student enrollment lifecycle. This is a high-impact professional role requiring a consultative sales approach, deep product knowledge of our unique multi-board curriculum, and exceptional relationship-building skills. You will be instrumental in achieving ambitious enrollment targets while maintaining the high ethical and professional standards of the Birla brand.
Key Responsibilities
Enrollment Strategy & Execution
Target Achievement:
Execute strategic outreach and counselling plans to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual admission quotas across all school segments (Pre-School, Primary, Middle, and High School).
Pipeline Management:
Manage and optimize the entire admissions funnel, from initial inquiry to final enrollment confirmation, utilising the school's ERP/CRM system with meticulous attention to detail.
Market Insights:
Provide regular, data-driven feedback on parental concerns, competitor offerings, and market trends to inform the school's marketing and strategic decision-making.
Consultative Counselling & Communication
Expert Product Knowledge:
Master the intricacies of the "Birla Curriculum," including its integration of
CBSE, IB, ICSE and IGCSE
methodologies, the emphasis on
STEM-based learning
, and the school's progressive, thematic pedagogy.
High-Value Communication:
Conduct professional, persuasive counselling sessions for prospective parents via phone, virtual meetings, and in-person walk-ins, effectively articulating the unique value proposition of BOMIS Dehradun.
Campus Representation:
Deliver engaging and insightful campus tours, showcasing the school's aesthetically designed infrastructure and modern facilities (ICT Labs, Sports facilities, Music Studio, etc.) as direct learning enablers.
Documentation & Events
Admissions Process Management:
Ensure all required admission documentation, fee structure explanations, and procedural steps are communicated clearly and executed accurately, maintaining strict compliance and record-keeping standards.
Event Leadership:
Actively participate in and lead school admissions events, open houses, seminars, and external school fairs, often acting as the primary representative and content expert for the institution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree in Business, Communications, or Education preferred).
Experience:
3+ years of professional experience in admission counselling, educational sales, or high-value service consulting, preferably within a K-12 or higher education environment.
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to present complex educational information persuasively.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales/enrollment targets.
Proficiency in CRM/ERP software for database management and lead tracking.
A proactive, professional, and empathetic approach to parent and student interaction.
