Purpose :
The
Community Engagement Coordinator
will play a key role in strengthening the school's relationship with the local community to support
student enrollment and admissions
. The position focuses on building partnerships with neighborhood schools, increasing visibility through outreach programs, and driving participation in after-school and community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Community Outreach and Engagement
Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities & educational institutions.
Organize and participate in community events, awareness drives, and school-led initiatives to enhance engagement.
Coordinate and promote after-school and enrichment programs to ensure increased participation from the local community.
2. Admissions and Enrollment Support
Identify and convert prospective students from the local area.
Develop outreach strategies and campaigns to drive admissions through community-based initiatives.
Liaise with parents, partner schools, and local stakeholders to communicate the school's programs and offerings.
3. Partner School Collaboration
Establish and nurture relationships with feeder/partner schools for potential student admissions.
Coordinate academic and cultural exchange activities that strengthen collaboration and brand visibility.
4. Communication and Reporting
Work with the Communications team to create visibility materials and social media content related to community initiatives.
Maintain regular reports on outreach efforts, participation levels, and admission conversions from community programs.
5. After-School Program Coordination & Record Management
Maintain accurate records of
after-school class admissions, student attendance, and teacher attendance
.
Track participation trends and provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager
Support in monitoring program quality and feedback collection from students and teachers.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan and execute outreach events and partnerships.
Comfort in engaging with diverse community groups.
Good organizational and follow-up abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and documentation tools.
