1) Good knowledge of Ansys Mechanical/Ansys classic/Ansys AQWA tools
2) Experience with Hypermesh/Hyperworks is an added advantage
3) Hands on experience with the engineering analysis such as static strength analysis, vibration analysis, transient dynamic analysis, fatigue analysis
4) Should have good command over 2D/3D geometry cleanup and meshing techniques
5) Should have good knowledge of shipping design codes such as American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and its application in the FE analysis
6) Experience in the design analysis of shipping structures/vessels/subsea equipment/pressure hull and their strength calculations
Job role
:
1) Perform FE analysis of shipping structures, shipping vessels, and subsea equipment
2) Carry out hand calculations to validate/supplement the analysis results
3) Prepare high quality FE analysis reports
4) Interact with the client to understand the technical requirements, clarify the inputs, and present the analysis reports before the client
5) Prepare standards operating procedures for carrying out such analysis
6) Keep company management and client informed about the project progress
