Qualifications And Skills

Education: M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science,. Experience: 6 - 8 years of hands-on experience in finite element modeling (FEM), including part- and assembly-level simulations. Prior exposure to semiconductor wafer/die-level and PCB-level modeling is highly desirable.

Technical Expertise:


+ Strong foundation in solid mechanics and FEA, with working knowledge of heat and mass transfer.
+ Proven experience in wafer- and die-level FEM modeling, including microscale material behavior, thin-film mechanics, and semiconductor packaging.
+ Proficiency in multi-physics simulations involving thermal, mechanical, and electrical coupling.
+ Familiarity with sub-micron scale modeling challenges such as residual stress, warpage, and delamination in semiconductor structures.

Tools & Software:


+ Proficient in commercial FEA tools such as ANSYS Workbench; knowledge of ANSYS APDL is a plus.
+ Experience with 3D CAD tools like Autodesk Inventor, especially for model preparation and transfer to simulation environments.

Analytical Skills:


+ Strong grasp of Design of Experiments (DoE) methodologies for simulation planning, execution, and optimization.
+ Deep understanding of thermal performance and heat transfer in semiconductor equipment and components.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical findings and collaborate across teams.
