to join our client's engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finite element modeling, simulation, and analysis of mechanical components and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
structural, thermal, and modal analysis
using ANSYS Workbench.
Build and validate finite element models for various components and assemblies.
Interpret analysis results and provide
design improvement recommendations
.
Collaborate with design and product engineering teams to optimize designs for strength, durability, and weight.
Prepare detailed
technical reports
, documentation, and presentations of analysis outcomes.
Ensure simulation accuracy by applying appropriate
material properties, boundary conditions, and meshing strategies
.
Support design validation and testing teams with analytical insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Mechanical / Automotive / Aerospace Engineering
or related discipline.
1-5 years
of experience in FEA and simulation.
Strong proficiency in
ANSYS Workbench
(Mechanical, Static Structural, Modal, Thermal, etc.).
Good understanding of
engineering mechanics, strength of materials, and design principles
.
Experience in
geometry cleanup, meshing, and result interpretation
.
Basic knowledge of
CAD tools
(SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Good to Have:
Exposure to
nonlinear, dynamic, or fatigue analysis
.
Knowledge of scripting or automation in ANSYS.
Experience in
automotive, aerospace, or heavy engineering domains
.
