Core Responsibilities

Simulation and Modeling

Conduct FEA for stress/strain, modal, fatigue, nonlinear, and buckling analyses; perform CFD for fluid flow, heat transfer, turbulence, and multiphase simulations using Ansys, Abaqus, or SolidWorks Simulation.

Build and mesh complex 3D models from CAD data (SolidWorks, CATIA), applying material properties, boundary conditions, and loads for accurate predictions.

Analysis and Optimization

Validate simulation results against physical tests, prototypes, and shopfloor data (CNC/WIP); iterate designs to optimize performance, reduce weight/costs, and mitigate risks via FMEA. Support kinematics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and vibration control analyses to ensure compliance with industrial standards.

Reporting and Collaboration

Prepare comprehensive reports, visualizations, Gantt charts, ROI calculations, and technical documentation for project reviews, client deliverables, and audits. Collaborate in team discussions, brainstorming, and cross-functional support for BOMs, tech stack selection, and manufacturing handoffs.

Required Qualifications Education and Experience

B.Tech/BE or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or related; minimum 3+ years of hands-on FEA/CFD experience in machine design, manufacturing, or shopfloor environments. Prior exposure to full project lifecycles, including G-code for CNC machines and quality control via WIP inspections.
