# - F&B Steward / Associate

Location: Peninsula Redpine Hotel, Andheri East, Mumbai

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Restaurant Captain / Restaurant Manager

Position Summary:

F&B Stewards are responsible for delivering excellent guest service by ensuring timely order taking, food serving, table setup, cleanliness, and overall restaurant hygiene. They play a key role in creating a smooth dining experience and maintaining Peninsula Redpine's service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

Welcome guests politely and present menus.
Take accurate food & beverage orders and enter them in the POS.
Serve food and beverages as per service standards.
Refill water, clear tables, and assist guests throughout their dining experience.
Handle guest queries professionally and escalate issues if required.
Operational Duties:

Set up tables, cutlery, linen, and service stations according to restaurant standards.
Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of the dining area before and after service.
Follow proper sequence of service for all meal periods.
Carry out side duties such as polishing cutlery, folding napkins, and stocking supplies.
Assist Captains and Supervisors during peak hours.
Coordination:

Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the kitchen and bar.
Coordinate with Hostess, Kitchen, and Bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.
Support team during events, banquets, and special promotions.
Sales Contribution:

Upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
Inform guests about ongoing offers, special menus, or signature dishes.

Requirements:

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Well-groomed and professional appearance.
Ability to handle pressure and multitask in busy operations.
Basic knowledge of F&B service standards (training will be provided).
Team player with a willingness to learn.

Education & Experience:

Minimum HSC or Graduate.
0-2 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, or F&B service (freshers can apply).

Age Criteria:

20 to 28 years (can be customized as needed)
