The F&B Service Steward is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to service standards set by the organization.
Greet and seat guests politely, ensuring a warm and professional service.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
Serve food and beverages in accordance with set service standards.
Respond to guest queries and requests courteously and efficiently.
Ensure guest satisfaction and escalate complaints to supervisors when required.
Set up tables, side stations, and service areas before and after service.
Clear and reset tables efficiently between courses and after guest departure.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas at all times.
Support buffet and banquet setups as required.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service flow.
Assist senior staff in special service tasks (banquets, events, VIP service).
Follow instructions from supervisors to achieve departmental goals.
Follow company SOPs and grooming standards at all times.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Comply with health, safety, and fire regulations of the property.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Courteous, well-groomed, and guest-oriented.
Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of food & beverage service techniques.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
