Leadership and staff supervision
Lead the front-of-house team during shifts and set a professional example.
Assign tasks to staff and monitor their performance.
Conduct pre-shift briefings and provide guidance to the team.
Assist in training and orienting new staff members.
Guest relations
Greet guests, take orders, and ensure their needs are met.
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Handle and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Make recommendations for food and beverages.
Operational and logistical management
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including reservations and table assignments.
Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Monitor table turnover and dining room management to optimize occupancy.
Ensure the dining room ambiance is well-managed.
Assist with inventory management and stock control.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Training and quality control
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain quality.
Ensure the staff adheres to service standards.
Assist in menu planning and updates.
