Job Description

The F&B Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in the restaurant, bar, cafe, or banquet areas. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, serving food & beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a memorable dining experience aligned with brand standards.

Guest Service

Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their seats. Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar. Serve food and drinks promptly following service standards. Ensure guest satisfaction and handle requests or complaints professionally.

Operational Duties

Set up tables, dining areas, and service stations according to guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas at all times. Ensure cutlery, crockery, and glassware are clean and properly arranged. Assist in mise-en-place and replenishment of supplies. Follow opening and closing procedures.

Teamwork & Communication

Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for efficient service. Support colleagues during busy operations. Communicate guest feedback to supervisors for continuous improvement.

Compliance & Safety

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (e.g., HACCP). Comply with company policies, grooming standards, and safety procedures. Handle cash or billing processes accurately when required.
