The Waiter is responsible for providing excellent guest service in the restaurant or dining area. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized service area in accordance with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests courteously and assist them to their tables.
Present menus, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly.
Ensure tables are properly set up before and after each service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area at all times.
Coordinate with the kitchen and other service staff for smooth operations.
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any complaints politely.
Follow hotel SOPs for order taking, serving, and billing.
Assist in setting up buffets, events, or banquets as required.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
Follow grooming, safety, and hygiene standards of the property.
