Taking orders: Taking orders from guests and ensuring they are served at the correct temperature and within the correct time frame
Preparing tables: Setting up tables and rooms for service, including arranging chairs and tables, setting up linen, and replenishing tables with essentials
Providing service: Serving food and drinks to guests and clearing tables when necessary
Managing guest queries: Handling guest complaints and queries in a timely and efficient manner
Maintaining cleanliness: Ensuring the restaurant areas are clean and well presented at all times
Supporting the kitchen: Supporting the kitchen staff as and when required and in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations
Communicating: Communicating with customers and colleagues in a clear and professional manner
Maintaining standards: Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards
