Job Description

A Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager oversees all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service, customer satisfaction, and profitability. They are responsible for managing staff, designing menus, controlling budgets, and complying with food and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Oversee daily F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, events, and room service.

Staff Management:

Hire, train, supervise, and motivate F&B staff.

Menu Development:

Design, implement, and update menus, considering customer preferences and market trends.

Budget Management:

Manage budgets, control expenses, and track financial performance.

Customer Service:

Ensure high standards of service and address customer complaints.

Inventory Control:

Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.

Supplier Relations:

Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Quality Control:

Maintain quality standards for food and beverage preparation and service.

Sales and Marketing:

Implement strategies to promote F&B offerings and increase sales.

Problem Solving:

Address operational challenges and customer concerns promptly and effectively.
Skills Required:

Leadership and Management:

Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Financial Acumen:

Understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.

Culinary Knowledge:
