What this job involves:



As an F&B Manager at JLL's Bangalore operations, you will oversee all F&B operations at our commercial property including managing dining facilities, cafeterias, and catering services to ensure exceptional service delivery for tenants and visitors while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This comprehensive management role combines operational excellence with team leadership, requiring you to oversee daily F&B operations including restaurants, cafeterias, and catering services while ensuring compliance with food safety standards, FSSAI regulations, and local health codes, managing inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards. You will play a crucial role in JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional workplace experiences by leading and managing F&B staff including supervisors, chefs, and service personnel, developing and managing department budgets and P&L statements, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for building tenants and visitors, and implementing cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency while fostering positive work environments.



What your day-to-day will look like:



Oversee daily F&B operations including restaurants, cafeterias, and catering services while ensuring compliance with food safety standards and FSSAI regulations

Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships while monitoring food quality, presentation, and service standards

Implement cost control measures and optimize operational efficiency while leading F&B staff including supervisors, chefs, and service personnel

Conduct training programs on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures while scheduling staff and managing labor costs

Develop and manage F&B department budgets and P&L statements while monitoring revenue targets and implementing profitability strategies

Control food costs, wastage, and operational expenses while preparing financial reports and analyzing performance metrics

Ensure exceptional dining experiences for building tenants and visitors while handling customer complaints and feedback professionally

Develop special event catering and corporate meal programs while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and ambiance



Required Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Food Technology, or related field

5-8 years of experience in F&B management, preferably in commercial real estate or hospitality with experience managing multi-outlet operations

Strong knowledge of Indian and international cuisines with expertise in food safety regulations and HACCP principles

Excellent leadership and team management skills with financial acumen in budgeting and cost control

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in F&B management software and MS Office

Understanding of inventory management, procurement, and vendor relationship management

Experience with staff scheduling and labor cost management within budget parameters

Ability to handle customer complaints and feedback professionally while maintaining service standards.



Preferred Qualifications:



FSSAI Food Safety Supervisor certification

Hotel Management or Culinary Arts certification

First Aid and Safety certifications

Experience in commercial real estate F&B operations

Background in special event catering and corporate meal program development

Knowledge of revenue optimization strategies and performance metrics analysis

Understanding of commercial property tenant service requirements

Experience with multi-cultural dining preferences and dietary requirements.
