Customer Service

\xc2\xb7 Ensures the delivery of brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.

\xc2\xb7 Provides excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.

\xc2\xb7 Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

\xc2\xb7 Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships.

Operational

\xc2\xb7 Ensures that minimum brand standards have been implemented.

\xc2\xb7 Embraces all Touches of Hyatt and the Food and Beverage Top 20.

\xc2\xb7 Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.

\xc2\xb7 Works closely with other Outlet employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.

\xc2\xb7 Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of \xe2\x80\x9cWe work through Teams\xe2\x80\x9d.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains par stocks of all equipment and guest supplies as required.

\xc2\xb7 Seats, takes orders and serves food and beverage to guest according to the established sequence and procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Presents menu, answers enquiries and makes suggestions regarding food, beverage and service to restaurant guests.

\xc2\xb7 Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.

\xc2\xb7 Fully conversant with all aspects of the Micros System.

\xc2\xb7 Computes bill and accepts payment

\xc2\xb7 Performs the function of cashier as required.

\xc2\xb7 Verifies cash received ensuring only genuine money been collected.

\xc2\xb7 Verifies all credit cards presented by guest before to validity of the card.

\xc2\xb7 Strictly adheres to all policies and procedures issued by the Finance with regard to cashiering and cash handling.

\xc2\xb7 Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food and Beverage combinations and up sell alternatives.

Personnel

\xc2\xb7 Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Culture Characteristics.

Other Duties

\xc2\xb7 Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.

\xc2\xb7 Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains strong, professional relationship with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations.

\xc2\xb7 Reads the hotel\'s Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel\'s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.

\xc2\xb7 Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

\xc2\xb7 Responds to changes in the Food and Beverage function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.

\xc2\xb7 Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
