The F&B Associate/Assistant will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring smooth day-to-day food & beverage operations, and maintaining Flurys' standards of service, quality, and hospitality. The role requires a guest-oriented approach, attention to detail, and teamwork to create a delightful dining experience for customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Operations
Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional manner.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them as per standard service guidelines.
Provide detailed menu knowledge to guests and assist with recommendations.
Ensure timely service of food and beverages with proper presentation.
Handle guest complaints and queries politely, escalating to seniors when required.
Service Standards & Outlet Maintenance
Maintain table settings, cleanliness, and overall outlet hygiene at all times.
Follow sequence of service standards as set by Flurys.
Ensure availability of cutlery, crockery, and other service materials.
Assist in setting up buffet/counters and replenishing items when required.
Support in maintaining stock of condiments, supplies, and beverages.
Teamwork & Coordination
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order delivery.
Work closely with cashier and other team members to maintain workflow.
Assist seniors in training new associates when required.
Sales & Upselling
Promote and upsell food and beverage items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Suggest daily specials and new menu items to guests proactively.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 0-5 years of experience in F&B service (freshers may also apply).
Diploma/degree in Hotel Management or equivalent preferred.
Good communication skills in English (knowledge of local language is a plus).
Pleasant personality with a customer-oriented approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of F&B service standards and basic restaurant operations.
Work Conditions
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per outlet requirements.
Standing for long durations during service hours.
