A Food and Beverage (F&B) Attendant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring smooth operation of the F&B area, and supporting the kitchen staff. This role involves a range of tasks including taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and handling cash.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
Table Management: Setting tables, clearing used tables, and ensuring the dining area is clean and well-maintained.
Order Accuracy: Ensuring correct orders are delivered and promptly, checking orders on collection from the kitchen, and announcing dishes.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintaining the service area, assisting with cleaning duties, and ensuring all areas are well-maintained.
Cash Handling: Handling cash and transactions, operating cash registers, and following cash handling procedures.
Product Knowledge: Possessing knowledge of menu items and beverages to assist customers in making choices.
Support to Kitchen: Supporting kitchen staff with tasks as needed, such as preparing beverages or assisting with basic food preparation.
Function Support: Assisting in the setup and service for functions, events, or meetings.
Other Duties: Performing other duties as directed by management, such as restocking items or cleaning specific areas.
